In 2010, she left her job as a producer at CBC to kick off a bit of a globetrotting thing: Brianna spent a few years living in the Caribbean and West Africa, where she freelanced on topics ranging from terrorism to lingerie trends and a bunch of fun and thoughtful stuff in between. She also did some communications consulting for international development organizations and NGOs.
Brianna then co-edited EAT IT: Sex, Food & Women’s Writing, published by Feathertale in 2013.
These days, she develops strategic communications for a global health non-profit while continuing to freelance, write fiction and creative non-fiction, blog and play banjo. She also makes time to explore as much of the world as she can, recently eating and drinking her way through China, Turkey and – the most delicious place on earth – France.
